The Everyday Heroes awards, sponsored by the Fraud Prevention & Investigations business of Thomson Reuters, honor individuals and organizations, like Metro Legal Services, that use Thomson Reuters public and proprietary records search products to make a difference in their communities.
Customers who use CLEAR, Westlaw PeopleMap and Batch Solutions are encouraged to share their compelling stories at hero.thomsonreuters.com. The customer who submits the most compelling story will receive a $5,000 charitable donation made by Thomson Reuters on their behalf to one of several selected charities. Two other Everyday Heroes award recipients will receive charitable donations made on their behalf in the amounts of $2,500 and $1,000.
“Thomson Reuters is proud to offer investigative solutions that real heroes use every day to make our world safer and more just,” said Andy Russell, vice president of Fraud Prevention & Investigations at Thomson Reuters. “We’re excited to hear success stories from our customers and to pay their good work forward by supporting worthy charities.”
A panel of Thomson Reuters employees and experts from the corporate, government and law firm markets will evaluate submissions and select the honorees. To have a success story considered for an Everyday Heroes award, customers must submit a nomination by December 31, 2013. Winners will be notified by February 28, 2014. The charities selected by the honorees will receive their donations by May 15, 2014.
